Stock Transport Order

The stock transfer order refers to an inter-plant transfer of stock materials. This refers to a scenario where Plant A of a company procures materials from Plant B. In this case the purchasing document used is known as Stock Transport Order. Also, this scenario is known as In-house procurement and the receiving plant has to settle for just the cost of production of the materials supplied.
